Goodbye summer and hello fall. First of all I want to thank the lovely Rita from Panoply who keeps us all organized. You will find the 19 more lovely fall tablescapes at the end of this post.
We are getting extreme temps this week. It's way too hot to sit outdoors. I set this fall inspired table in our dining room, complete with Evergreen Fall Songbirds Balloons. My husband and I were visiting a local nursery and loved these fun fall balloon spinners. I then looked them up on Amazon and noticed they had these black and white checks with fall songbirds. I removed the tails for the table.
Here is the makings of this table. I added this pretty pumpkin runner with black and white checks down the middle of the table. Crown Linen round placemats tie in with the table runner. I then added orange plate chargers. Excuse the blender in the background.
Little by little the table is coming together.
The florals are from our local grocery store in a tall Italian Murano vase.
I cut a few of the hydrangeas from our yard, but they are looking droopy.
Golden goblets are next, along with the falling leaves plate stack. These plates are by Royal Stafford. I then added my Chris Madden pumpkin tureens on top.
You can see more of the plates here in this photo. I added the bronze GG flatware
because it looks great with the fall colors.
This particular plate is a little different. It's always fun to mix and match.
I removed the florals and added a smaller vessel for my guests to be able to see each other. You can appreciate the vineyard mural an artist created for us.

ReplyDeleteLinda, I love the bird balloon spinners you found! They’re a fun addition suspended above your table with their fall leaves and black and white checks to pair with your table. Love your runner, CLD mats, leaf plates and mini pumpkin tureens atop your settings. Gorgeous mix of flowers in your Murano glass vase! As always it’s a treat to join you at the table and hop with you, Happy Tuesday. ♥
Love this table scape! The balloons are stunning!
ReplyDeleteLovely, so seasonal! I love those pumpkin tureens! They'd be perfect for some butternut squash soup or a hearty bowl of chili.
ReplyDeleteLinda your table is so pretty for fall. I love your pumpkin tureens and the balloons are so cute. I love anything checked so love your black and white checks added to the traditional fall colors. Everything is gorgeous. Hope your Labor Day was nice. Have a great week. Hugs. Kris
ReplyDeleteLinda, you decorated such a pretty table that is perfect for fall entertaining. I love the pretty table runner and the pumpkins at each place setting. I hope you have a nice week and happy September.
ReplyDeleteThis puts me in the mood for Fall alright!
ReplyDeleteLinda, what fun spinners you found. I may need to order some of the black and white ones. They add a fun touch! Your table is filled with beautiful details as always. It's fun that you have so many lovely spots to set a table. Your dining room is a favorite! Happy Autumn, my friend!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun table - one of my favorites! I adore the runner (did someone paint it for you?). The spinners are too cute and add a fun element to this setting. Your tables always make me want to fly our for dinner!!!
ReplyDeleteAs always, your table is gorgeous, Linda! How lucky were you to find those spinners on Amazon! A perfect match and focal point to all of your accessories! Wow, wow, wow!
ReplyDeleteLinda, those spinners are so perfect! Not only for this table, but you will get a lot of use from those with all the M-C Courtly Checks. That runner is so pretty (looks like M-C but it's not, right?), and the Crown Linen checks are just a great staple too. Love the flatware and your china. That last look where you removed the florals and put a simple vase on the center of the table frames up your artwork on the wall beautifully. Well done! Happy September, and wishing you some precipitation to keep your land healthy and safe.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful, Linda! Those little pumpkins make me want to go out to buy a few of my own and start decorating for the new season. Almost...😉
ReplyDeleteI don't think the weather man thinks it's fall..Lovely table scapes..Love the B?W checked spinner.. Perfect for you!!..Enjoy your week....
ReplyDeleteLinda, your table features so many charming fall accents and I am particularly smitten with your gorgeous floral centerpiece! Pinned! Blessings, Cecilia @My Thrift Store Addiction
ReplyDeleteLinda, As always you have a stand out table. Those spinners are neat! Love your MKC and CL pieces and your dining room is always a treat. I do love your painting!
ReplyDeleteI'll excuse the blender, Linda, if you make me a blade drink, LOL! ;P
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun table! I love how you've sourced so many neat things that have black and white checks on them to blend with all things Courtly Check, especially the spinner balloons and round placemats. The placemats are my faves! Your plate stack is pretty, too....and so is the large centerpiece vase.
Your dining room welcomes fall in the very best way. I hope your weather cools down a bit to reflect fall so you can enjoy your beautiful garden and pool!
Linda, I love that you used those balloons for this setting! With your beautiful painting in the background in the last photo, it makes me remember a trip to wine country and a hot air balloon festival we saw there. The checked placemats are always a winner, I have napkins like that and they always make me smile. Your pumpkins, colors, and inspired setting speak fall - absolutely beautiful! xo Lidy

ReplyDeleteLinda, the bird balloon spinners are a fun addition to your table. I just read Lidy’s comment and I was reminded of our hot air balloon ride over the vineyards in Napa. After the ride, we had breakfast in a vineyard…it is a very special memory! I am sorry I digressed with my travel memories. The runner is so pretty and your plate stack complements it perfectly. Seeing the Chris Madden pumpkin tureens reminded me of her HGTV show many years ago that I enjoyed. I would love to sit at your table and view the lovely mural. It is always a treat to hop with you. I hope your weather cools off soon!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness Linda, those bird balloon spinners with the black/white checks couldn't be more perfect for your fall tablescape and MC collection! So many wonderful details, I found myself slowly combing each photo as to not miss a single element! Love the rich layering of checks, prints, textures and fall colors. Beautifully done!
ReplyDeleteHow much fun Linda! The balloon spinners are so cute hovering over your pumpkins and flowers! Love your table runner and CL placemats, and of course your plate stacks and pumpkin tureens! I have been worrying about you and those awful temperatures where you live, I pray you can keep cool and you don't have power black outs...

Hi Linda!
ReplyDeleteI love your fall table, and I'm so ready for that wonderful season. It's still quite hot here, too, in N.C. Your balloon spinners are so pretty, and so are all your place settings. I especially love those black and white check placemats. :) I love the vessel you used for your centerpiece in the last photo; it's lovely enough to stand on its own with no flowers needed. The vineyard mural is beautiful, too. I'm hoping we all get some cooler temps. in the coming week.
Thanks for sharing your pretty table, and have a great week!!
Hugs,
Denise
Another lovely and inspiring table Linda. When we lived in New Mexico we saw hot air balloons on a regular basis and during October we had the balloon fest which was amazing...Especially the balloon glow every night. The rest of your table is perfect and the painting done for you is spectacular. Happy Autumn to you and yours.
ReplyDeleteLinda, you have created so much eye candy here at your spectacular fall table!! Between the checks, balloons and beautiful place settings there is so much to love about your table. Even beyond the table with your beautiful upholstered chairs and the fabulous mural, your dinning room is an autumn splendor 🍂🍁🍂Happy Fall!
ReplyDeleteIt's a gorgeous table but those balloon spinners -- well, they just rock the house! Those are fabulous (and of course I linked over there right away!) It's a lovely table, full of fall ambience and so much fun. Happy week to you!
ReplyDeleteWow you outdid yourself! I absolutely love the balloon spinners hanging from the chandelier. Each detail is well thought out and the florals are gorgeous. Love the dishes and flatware. The black and white checks enhance everything! Love the small vessel you added at the end!
ReplyDeleteLinda, your tablescape is beautiful. The Cardinals are lovely. Thank you for sharing.

Linda, such a clever use of balloon spinners to anchor the ends of the table. Wonderful colors and patterns abound in your table setting giving us interesting combinations and lots to take in. I especially liked the black and white placemats. A great welcome to Fall!
ReplyDeleteOh Linda, I love those spinners, they add such a Wow factor to your pretty fall table setting. Such pretty colors and I love the black and white check place mats. Your attention to special detail always make your settings beautiful. Happy September......
ReplyDeleteLinda, your fall table is just the season should be celebrated. A beautiful burst of colors. The final touch was the bird balloon spinners!
ReplyDeleteHappy fall,
Rachelle
What a fun table! I love those balloon spinners, Linda, for some magical whimsy. Your runner is so pretty and looks great with your whole table. I had to search for your blender! Too funny and I wouldn’t have caught it if you hadn’t mentioned it. It’s still HOT here, too.
ReplyDeleteOh those spinners!!! I would have looked at those and thought how pretty they were but never in a million years would I have thought to use them this way. Beautiful table Linda and as always, I love YOUR creativity!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a beautiful table and I love those balloon spinners!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful table! Lucky are those who get to sit at it with you! I think you've gotten me a bit more in the mood for fall, even though I'm always reluctant to say goodbye to summer.
ReplyDeleteLinda, Your table is so beautiful! The balloon spinners is such a charming way to carry the eyes up and above your tablescape. The Royal Stafford leaf adorned plates are so gorgeous! I always appreciate patterned dishes, these did not escape my notice! The black and white check is a nice contrast to the fall colors. Happy September!
ReplyDeleteQuerida Linda, qué mesa más preciosa y otoñal, me gusta todo pero ese ramo que has preparado es una maravilla y los globos muy, muy simpáticos. Como siempre tus mesas una maravilla. Un beso
ReplyDeleteLinda, I love the sumptuous table you set! The vivid colors of fall are really enhanced by the black and white designs in the runner, placemats and balloons. The gorgeous centerpiece suggests all of fall's abundance. Love it all! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove the mini soup tureens!
ReplyDeleteI am just so impressed with grocery store floral shops these days! They have really stepped up to the plate! I can remember when all you could get was a dozen roses with a paltry sprig of half-brown baby's breath! With so many stores making the grocery a one-stop shopping experience, it just makes sense that the floral departments have made such vast improvements. Your flowers are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI have been watching the news about all the heat there. I'm so sorry! It's awful!!!
Cool balloons!!!!!!!!!! You just never know what you'll find out there!
Have a happy week, Linda! Stay cool!
Hi Linda. That table arrangement is just beautiful, but your's always are. The black and white checks just seem to go with everything. I have those same placemats and napkin rings..Happy Tuesday..xxoJudy
