We have had some surprising rain and a few cooler days and nights. It was welcome, because our air conditioner went out upstairs. After waiting a few weeks for someone to fix it, we were pleasantly surprised to find someone from a small town not far away. He showed up to analyze our German system.
He said after inspecting it, he thought he could fix it. He said, this German guy can fix your German air conditioner. He fixed it. Yea!
With the cottage expansion nearly complete, my son and I have almost finished painting. My husband took care of all the caulking and will be painting the higher areas of the cottage that are a bit out of our reach.
He also built Jason a custom loft bed, allowing him to maximize the space by placing Daisy's dog crate underneath, similar to the one shown in the photo below.

In addition to building the bed, my husband installed the flooring, baseboards, door trim, plus plumbing, bringing all of the finishing touches together. It's exciting to see the cottage finally taking shape after all of the hard work we've put into it.
I love all of the inspiration. It is difficult to pick the features, because we have so many wonderful posts. There is so much creativity out there. Thank you friends for sharing your lovely posts. Feel free to use this featured button.
