Love Your Creativity Link Party #354

"Love Your Creativity." The place where you can share your latest blog posts.  Just link up  at   the bottom of this post. You could be featured next  week!  Share your  home decor ideas, tablescapes,  garden   projects, crafts, recipes, frugal living tips, lifestyle posts and more. The party starts at 12:00 Pacific time.

We recently added handrails to our front porch and steps down to the pool.  Getting older, it does help to have a handrail to hold on to.  I have also noticed some of our guests struggling.

We had the blacksmith design a handrail for the front porch to match our existing railing on our balcony, which  is above our porch, right off our Primary bedroom.
I  love all of the inspiration. It is difficult to pick the features, because we have so many wonderful posts. There is so much creativity out there. Thank you friends for sharing your lovely posts. Feel free to use this featured button.

  2. You are to be commended for adding handrails..My sisters hairdresser just moved to a new place of business that needs handrails outside the front door. My sister mentioned it when she went the first time. She has been back three times and no handrails. She's not going back... Thanks for hosting.

  3. Hi Linda! I've been wondering if we should add handrails to our steps in the front yard since I have balance issues due to my MS. Loved seeing how lovely yours are and how they easily integrated into your landscape. Thanks for the inspo! Always lovey to visit here and I appreciate the feature. I'm so glad you enjoyed my spring vintage table. XO- MaryJo

  6. You are so kind to provide handrails as a safety for you and your guests. The things we have to think about as we age! They look beautiful, your blacksmith did an incredible job! So many fun posts this week to look at, you always host such a wonderful party, Linda!

I shared a difficult post this week. I was burned in a canning accident, and I'd like to warn as many people as I can about the danger of this canning lid.

Thank you for your blogland blessing to us all! Have a blessed week ahead!

  7. Gorgeous handrail, Linda! And so very necessary for aging in place. This will allow you the freedom and security of walking the property, especially in inclement weather and at night. Smart move! Thanks for the party and lovely features.

  9. Hi Linda- That makes so much sense to add the hand rails now as a precaution- before they are truly a necessity. They really look nice and I think enhance, rather than detract, from the setting. Lovely!
Happy week ahead to you! xo Diana

  11. Your handrails look like they've always been there! It's a thoughtful addition! I , too am noticing the need for a railing - especially at our lake home where the steps to the lake are a big more rugged. I keep thinking I'd benefit from a railing, especially when carrying grandkids to the lake or boat supplies down the hill! Thanks so much for the party!
