We recently added handrails to our front porch and steps down to the pool. Getting older, it does help to have a handrail to hold on to. I have also noticed some of our guests struggling.
We had the blacksmith design a handrail for the front porch to match our existing railing on our balcony, which is above our porch, right off our Primary bedroom.
I
love all of the inspiration. It is difficult to pick the features,
because we have so many wonderful posts. There is so much creativity out
there. Thank you friends for sharing your lovely posts. Feel free to

Linda, I realize the importance of handrails as I am getting older and as older guests visit us. Thank you for hosting each week!
ReplyDeleteYou are to be commended for adding handrails..My sisters hairdresser just moved to a new place of business that needs handrails outside the front door. My sister mentioned it when she went the first time. She has been back three times and no handrails. She's not going back... Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda! I've been wondering if we should add handrails to our steps in the front yard since I have balance issues due to my MS. Loved seeing how lovely yours are and how they easily integrated into your landscape. Thanks for the inspo! Always lovey to visit here and I appreciate the feature. I'm so glad you enjoyed my spring vintage table. XO- MaryJo
ReplyDeleteHandrails will be so useful and safe, Linda, which is so important. Yours look beautiful! Thank you for your wonderful party and all the features. I hope you’ll have a great week.
ReplyDeleteYour garden is fabulous! Thank you so much for featuring the 60th birthday card I made.
ReplyDeleteYou are so kind to provide handrails as a safety for you and your guests. The things we have to think about as we age! They look beautiful, your blacksmith did an incredible job! So many fun posts this week to look at, you always host such a wonderful party, Linda!
ReplyDeleteI shared a difficult post this week. I was burned in a canning accident, and I'd like to warn as many people as I can about the danger of this canning lid.
Thank you for your blogland blessing to us all! Have a blessed week ahead!
Gorgeous handrail, Linda! And so very necessary for aging in place. This will allow you the freedom and security of walking the property, especially in inclement weather and at night. Smart move! Thanks for the party and lovely features.
