A few days ago I  came down with a cold.  Something I haven't had in quite some time. I had to cancel my nail appointment , decline a dinner invitation and take some time to rest.  My granddaughter and family are arriving on Tuesday for an early Thanksgiving. I am starting to feel better already, thank goodness.

I have plans for the kids to make candy trains.  I usually have a fun project for them. I will share photos after their visit next week.

I love all of the inspiration. It is difficult to pick the features, because we have so many wonderful posts. There is so much creativity out there. Thank you friends for sharing your lovely posts. Feel free to use this featured button.

  1. I'm so sorry to hear about your cold, Linda. That can really slow a woman down and at this season, no one wants a slow down! But I'm also glad to hear you are on the mend. The candy trains sound really cute! I hope you share how to do them.

  5. Linda, I'm happy to hear you are feeling better. After my trip to Milwaukee, I came down with a terrible cold. Most people on the plane were coughing and sneezing, so I knew there was no escaping it. I hope you and your family have a very Happy Thanksgiving. Take care. ♡
