Merry Merry Friends. It's time for another blog hop hosted by our lovely Blogger, Rita from Panoply. You will find 16 table enthusiasts setting a Christmas table toward the bottom of this post.
I set this cute deer tablescape in our Breakfast room. A perfect spot for setting a table for 4. Prancing deer through the snow with little fawns following, along with some owls.
I tied in the green from the trees on the napkins, green flatware and green goblets. Snow covered placemats have a striking contrast against the red.
I love decorating my chandeliers. I draped red beads along with my large snowflakes and a few smaller one. I think it adds a festive touch to the room.
I also added a few owls to go along with this woodsy theme.
Fairy lights surround the mini trees for some added ambiance.A picture of the woodsy Santa and trees sitting on a snow covered throw.*As an amazon affiliate if you purchase something I have linked, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

My favourite touch is the snowflake placemats!
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Linda, I *deerly* love your theme of ‘prancing through the snow’ with sweet deer family and frosty trees. Your faux fur table runner on your cheery red tablecloth makes for a such a cozy foundation for your table. Your chandy with the beaded garland and snowflakes is so festive and I adore the addition of the owls in your woodland scene. Your mini tree in the background with the elf legs, snowmen and peppermint details is wonderful too! As always, it’s a treat to join you at the table and hop with you, Merry Tuesday!❤️🎄🦌❄️
ReplyDeleteSuch a great theme with the mix of elegant and whimsical. Love those snowflake placemats!
ReplyDeleteYour chandelier is gorgeous as always, Linda. I always look forward to seeing what you have created. Such a festive and lively table for the holidays. the owls are a nice addition to the trees in your centerpiece. The faux fur runner suggest a deep snow on a wintry night. The lanterns at each place setting will light your way through the forest and bring you home. Merry Christmas!

ReplyDeleteHi Linda: Your dear deer tablescape is beautiful. Love those snowy placemats as well as everything else. I put out a post today but I am learning a new computer and it is giving me fits. I couldn't join in the party as I couldn't figure out how to cut and paste. It is a laptop and so different from my desktop . I have an appointment where we bought it but not until Thursday. It has only taken me 15 minutes to type this comment. I'll figure it out eventually. I can't believe I got this far on my own.. Happy Holidays ..xxoJudy

Linda, love your woodland theme in the breakfast room. Those sweet deer make me smile and think of the deer I watched each day when in CO last August. The plates with the deer are adorable and the red under plate really sets off the design. Simply beautiful! I always enjoy your tablesettings! Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeleteLinda, your prancing deer and woodland theme makes me smile. We constantly see deer in our pasture and on our property. The BHG deer plates are so perfect for your theme. I also love seeing the handsome owls. I look forward to seeing how you will decorate your chandeliers! They are always beautiful! It is fun to pull up a chair at one of your stunning tables. Wishing you a Merry Christmas Season!
ReplyDeleteMy personal style preferences tend to lean more toward the rustic and woodsy than the glitz and so this one is a table i could sit at for hours! I love how you incorporated the deer and the trees and all the wonderful woodland creatures. The plates and the Father Christmas you chose are perfect and those lanterns are inspired. What a wonderful tablescape!

How incredibly cozy, Linda! I love styling a smaller than large dining table, and this is just right up my alley. The trees are fantastic with the deer, and all tied together so well. I love the woodland theme, including the sideboard with Santa and the tree in the corner. Your use of very affordable BHG deer plates and lanterns (way to go, Paul, fantastic upcycle!) are so very playful with the elegance of your tablecloth, red plates and Horchow flatware. I love how you use your covers for the chair backs, and decorate your chandelier too. Those snowflake placemats are really cool. Are they fabric or flocked? I love seeing source lists, thank you for that. Always, always a treat to blog hop with you, and I thank you for being a part of this stylist cadre. Merry Christmas season to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty Linda...I don't know how you manage to come up with so many beautiful and inspirational table settings but you have done it yet again. The snowy theme with trees and place mats and wreaths and your chandy are adorable. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours.

The BHG plates are adorable, and the chandy is, of course, fabulous. It was a pleasure hopping with you and wishing you a merry merry Christmas to you and your family!

ReplyDeleteLinda, I think you took a scene from just down the street from me and recreated it on your table!! We have a lot of deer and pine trees around our little lake, so I adore your table!! There is so much to take in here, your details are fabulous. I love the fuzzy runner for snow and the big snowflake placemats, and your chandelier is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy seeing how you have styled your tables. I hope you have a very merry Christmas season🎄🤶
Linda, it would be such a joy to join you at this beautiful Christmas table. The deer theme is perfect, and I have a few of these plates that are part of the same series from the farm plates.
