Tales of The Traveling Tote #30 Plus Giveaway

Hello friends, it's time for tales of the Traveling Tote. We haven't really traveled, so I am sharing some photos from local nurseries around us and a few photos from our home.

January, we stayed home.  After that we hosted a  Valentine dinner party for friends. It featured the hot air balloons I created with Love is in the air!

For Valentine's Day, my husband surprised me with  forever preserved  roses and chocolates plus a dinner out at II Fornaio Italian Restaurant. Miss Lola loved the attention she received.

“The measure of a garden is the degree to which it grabs you and haunts you after you’ve visited it.”

Here I am at High Hand Nursery.  I love this place.

Next stop is Green Acres

Miss Lola with lots of orchids. We stopped at Green Acres to take a few photos.

Having fun with these silly pots. They do put a smile on your face.
Love this old truck at Green Acres.  It makes for a nice  prop for plants. Miss Lola decided to hop onboard.

One of my girlfriends June, took my Royal Check Bistro Tote to Arizona.  June stopped at the Foothills Trading post  in Yuma, Arizona and took these fun photos.

Here she is with this Mexican Talavera Catrina.  She is very well dressed and groomed in her traditionally colorful dress. June stays at Quartzsite in Arizona.

For my June post, my husband and I are traveling to Napa Valley for our anniversary. I shall  have some lovely photos from our trip. We live less than 2 hours from Napa.

Emily from The French Hutch is hosting this giveaway, so be sure to visit her blog and leave a comment for a chance to win the luggage tag.. Below is the tote ladies who are sharing their tote's adventures.

About Linda @ Life and Linda

Hello, welcome to LifeandLinda. I am from Northern California. I enjoy blogging, Designing Blogs, Decorating, cooking, entertaining, gardening and clogging. I hope you enjoy your visit.

  1. Linda, you're looking fit and glam! I love that your friend borrowed your tote and took it on a photo journey too - that's super fun and cute! I'm happy to kick winter to the curb and welcome spring, as I'm sure you are too. Having a bit of snow like you did this past winter gives you a taste of what we endure here in the east. I'd rather have your dosage than what we had! Happy March, and happy planning a fun time in Napa Valley!

  2. Your garden must certainly haunt all who visit! You look great Linda..And the care you take for your guests is so evident in all you do.

  3. I really enjoyed this post, Linda! God bless you and your husband with a wonderful upcoming June anniversary trip! My husband and I were also married in June. Lord willing, we wil celebrate our 34th wedding annivesary on June 11th. God is so good!

  4. I bet your friends had an awesome time at the Valentine's dinner you hosted. What a fun garden center to visit Linda. I enjoyed looking at all the photos and how awesome that your friend used the tote on her trip to Arizona.

  5. Hello Linda. I love seeing the Valentine’s table again and you look fabulous! We have had a couple of trips to Napa and enjoyed both immensely. Nurseries and garden shops are my cup of tea. Wishing you a wonderful spring

  6. Its so exciting to see flowers! It will be at least another month for us! Your tables are always so fun to see - you have such a flair for making your guests feel welcomed and impressed with your creativity. Happy to see that your Royal tote got to travel!!

  7. I like those glass "art flames" (for lack of a better description) at the garden shop!

  8. It's always fun to visit garden centers, I get inspired while visiting them. Your Valentine's dinner party provides lots of romantic inspiration. The roses you received are beautiful, Paul is so romantic. You look darling in the pic, great shot. Happy March Linda.......

  9. What wonderful Valentine's celebrations, your beautiful dinner party and a romantic night out! I'm sure you really enjoy going to the garden centers and getting new things for your beautiful gardens 🌷 and Miss Lola certainly had fun! So sweet of you to lend your Royal Bistro Tote to your friend for her trip to Arizona, and that she took pictures! I know your trip to Napa will be very special, can't wait!

  10. The local nursery seems to be about the only place I travel to these days. Love yours. xo Laura

  11. Linda, plant centers are a favorite destination for me and Miss Merri Mac too. You look terrific!!! Enjoy the anniversary trip. Happy Anniversary to you and Paul. Napa is such a beautiful destination.

  13. What a wonderful Valentine’s Day you had, Linda! I love walking around garden centers as they just make you feel happy with all the color and scents. Those silly pots are indeed funny!! You look stunning, and May you have a great week. ❤️

  14. Looks like you and Miss Lola had a fabulous time on Valentine's Day and traveling around your area. It certainly looks like spring has arrived there! It's still very cold and dreary here on the east coast!

  15. What a grand time! You have some fabulous nursery/garden centers in your area and it looks like you made the most of them! (You look awesome and fabulous. I never looked half that good, even when I was in my prime! Well done!)

  17. Well Lola has managed to get around to a lot of locations! She looks cute everywhere, especially the truck!

  18. Seems like Miss Lola had a lot of good times. I can't wait for it to be time to visit the nurseries again! Those silly pots are fabulous!

  19. Lola got to visit some gorgeous nurseries, and how cute you look with her! I am looking forward to your June post as we are visiting Napa Valley and the wineries with Joe's family that lives in LA. How fun to loan your Royal Check Bistro Tote so it could travel to Arizona. I keep forgetting to use mine. What a wonderful Valentine's Day you had!

  20. What a super fun Valentine's Day and garden visits. I envy your lovely weather. It's still so cold here. Thanks for sharing a little bit of your warmth with us!

  21. High Hand Nursery looks like my kind of place. You look so cute, Linda! :D
