Gnome For The Holidays

Welcome to the 2021 Christmas Tablescape Blog Hop. You will find lots of inspiration by visiting all of these fabulous blogger.
First of a big thank you to Rita from Panoply who has organized this blog hop.

Well, I didn't set a bling tablescape.  Can you believe it?  Gnomes are such cute little critters, I felt I had to create a fun Christmas table just for them.

Red, black and white with harlequin pattern.  Mackenzie Childs Courtly Check fits right in with the Harlequin salad plates and wrapping paper.
I loved these tall red gnomes.  I looked for some at three different Ross stores.
I asked a girlfriend to check her store and she went out of her way to check 3 other stores. Together we found 8 gnomes. They shall make a nice party favor in addition to some homemade apple butter.

wrapping paper used as a runner.

Love these pretty plates  Harlequin by Susan Winget -  Thanks to Patti from Pultorak, my personal shopper who found the plates at Wegmans and sent them to me.
I found this darling gnome runner at Ross along with the small and mini gnomes.

The gnome centerpiece I put together with a round gift container, added a wreath, some pine cones and a large bow.

I added these cute little red and white striped balloons to my chandelier along with some snowflakes.  The match the red gnome with it's stripes.
This table is for my Clogger's group. We shall have 7 or 8 at the table.  Our group has shrunk.  It will be a potluck.  I am making the desserts.
Love this cute gnome wreath I found at Ross.  I looked at three other stores to find a matching one.  Don't you hate that when you cannot find more of something you love.

  1. Linda, your gnomes are adorable little guys, and your theme title perfect. What a fun surprise this will be for your clogger friends. I have resisted buying but one gnome and he's not even holiday dressed, but you sure make it enticing. Enlisting your friend to help score the number needed was brilliant, and Patti as your personal shopper to round out the table stack, too. That's what friends are for, right? I love the whimsy in all of this. Adding the balloon decorations to the chandy was a fun addition here, too. And a departure from glam?! Well, you made up for it with cuteness exponential! I love it! Thanks for bringing the fun to the table for us, it's a real treat.
