Hello friends, we have a treat in store this week with some fabulous late summer tablescapes. Chloe from Celebrate and Decorate has once again organized a tablescape blog hop with the theme of late summer tablescapes. You can find the links toward the bottom of this post. Thank you for visiting!
I set this table for an upcoming dinner party down by our pool. The pool area is very
tropical looking, therefore my inspiration for setting this dining experience. The dishes I have had for years. They are made by Laurie Gates. They are bright and colorful and also melamine. No breakage to worry about. The aqua glasses match the melamine dishes nicely.
I love the colors in these dishes. You can mix and match. The placemats and napkins were purchased in Kauai this year while on vacation. They are made locally on the island. Mailelanis is the brand name. The bamboo flatware is a Horchow find. The shell napkin rings are in a shade of blue and purchased years ago from Kohls.
I bought the darling seahorse candle holders years ago from Kohls.
Now, that we added a pool cabana, I love to entertain down by the pool. No more carrying dishes up and down the stairs. Our very own tropical oasis.
The pool cabana has a mini kitchen plus a much needed bathroom and an outdoor shower.
An overhead shot of the table.
Here you can see the whole palapa, which provides wonderful shade from the sun's rays. The palapa adds a more tropical look to the area as well.
Night time look of the table. I really love the led lights pads I purchased from Amazon. You can read more about them on this post, Color My World.
The colors can be changed by touching the remote control. The soft glow adds a lovely effect for night time dining. The added sea shells hide the light pad.
I have been playing with my phone's camera settings. It is great to see a panoramic view of the whole area.
I hope you visit each and every talented blogger below. Lots of fun inspiration for those summer tables.
