Last week I shared a table in our dining room in honor of my husband. He loves purple.
It will be under the palapa, down at the pool.
Last Sunday was an emotional and meaningful day for us. We attended a Celebration of Life for our neighbor's husband, Bryan, who passed away unexpectedly a few months ago. His sudden passing was a shock to everyone who knew and loved him.
I had the honor of creating Bryan's photo collages for the event, which allowed me to reflect on the many memories he shared with family and friends. One memory that stands out for us is Bryan's attendance at our Chinese New Year dinner party this past February. It was a wonderful evening filled with laughter, friendship, and delicious food.
Bryan's wife, Sunny, who owns a Chinese restaurant, generously prepared and brought all of the food for our gathering. Looking back, we are especially grateful for that special evening and the opportunity to spend time with Bryan. Those cherished memories have become even more meaningful since his passing.
I love all of the inspiration. It is difficult to pick the features, because we have so many wonderful posts. There is so much creativity out there. Thank you friends for sharing your lovely posts. Feel free to use this featured button.

ReplyDeleteI’m so sorry about your friend, Linda, but how wonderful that you were chosen to put together the photos for his celebration of life. You certainly use your gifts so well. Thank you for your party and may you have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for featuring our "Countdown to Kindergarten" post, Linda! We appreciate you, your support and your visits so much! I'm so sorry to hear about the sudden passing of your friend, Bryan. I remember how fun your Chinese New Dinner looked when you shared the details in a post earlier this year and I'm sure those times hold even more meaning now. What a blessing it must have been to his family for you to create the photo collages! A true gift!
