End Of Summer Tablescape

The last days of summer, I thought I would share a colorful table in the Breakfast room.  This week has been very hot.  We are definitely putting the air conditioner to good use.  We are so thankful we have solar.

No chair covers on this fun table.  The red chairs tie in nicely with the red in the plates. The placemats I found at Steinmart on sale. Pioneer Woman aqua compotes from Walmart. The colorful plates are from Pier1 on clearance.

I love aqua, turquoise, etc.  It is pretty amazing to put different color combinations together.  It works!
A view from above. I think it is pretty funny to think of bloggers who create tablescapes the lengths that go to take a good picture.  No guarantee, they are great...lol  Stand on chairs, ladders, bending down.

I am enjoying this pretty color of zinnias.  Fresh florals make everything nice.
I grabbed these pretty blooms from our local Home Depot.

I found these darling napkin rings at Pier1 on clearance.  I am mixing up plates. Parchment red from Mikasa is under the aqua compote. The red floral has a lovely contrast with the aqua napkin.

Here's to the last of summer.  It looks like Fall is upon us, in the stores, blogs, etc.  Like I said, it is hot here. It is difficult to think about pumpkins.

Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend.  Look for The Tales of the Traveling Tote- September 1st. plus a giveaway.  I am posting on Saturday,  a day early due to my link party - "Love Your Creativity" on Sunday.

  3. Beautiful table Linda. Love the centerpiece. Your table is fun and cheery. I'm not running with decorating for fall. I'm drying many hydrangea right now.

That's my go to fall and spring staple. Too hot and soon for me to be pulling out pumpkins yet.

Have a super Labor day weekend

  7. Another awesome table setting, Linda! I love the color combinations and how well they go with your lovely upholstered chairs. And your pretty zinnias reminded me that I didn't plant any this year. It seems like summer was here before spring ended and now it's almost fall but it's still so hot. I think mother nature was a bit confused this year - and so were we! Lol! Have a great holiday weekend!
