Finally! A Printable Recipe For Blogger

This is exciting news!  Most bloggers on Blogspot have never had a  cool recipe card print-out. Wordpress has all of the  nice plug-ins. We now have The Recipes Generator

I have looked high and low trying to find a gadget or code for Blogger on Blogspot.  I have used Print Friendly, Google Sites for printables, Recipage and Key Ingredient.

This new one works perfectly!  How exciting is that?

Well, look no further fellow Bloggers.  We have arrived!
I am so excited to share this

I have written many tutorials on various recipes sites I found, but nothing compares to this one!

The screen below is what the Recipes Generator looks like.

I added some ingredients and info to show you the Recipes Generator.

Here is a close-up look!

Type in all of the recipe information and don't forget to add your photo url. When you are finished adding everything, click preview. You will see your recipe on preview form.

After previewing it, now you click CHOOSE THE STYLE.

Once you choose the style you like, then you copy and paste the html code in the HTML part of your post.

Here is what it looks like once you paste the HTML code. Isn't this a nice looking recipe printout?

How do you get to The Recipe Whiz? Is it an app you add to your blogger layout? Do you go outside your blog to an address on the internet?

  13. This is a fabulous idea dear Linda! You are such a wiz, I am envious, wish I was a fourth as savvy as you this way I would figure out "WHY MY NEW POST'S THUMBNAIL DOESN'T APPEAR FOR THE LAST 2 HOURS!" Do you know? Maybe you can explain if this is happened before, even to you?
Thank you so much for sharing.

  20. Thank you so much. It is very helpfull.

  21. Thank you so much for this! I'm off to try it out!

  22. Hi Linda! I was using this site for changing my blog posts over to being printable...but now the site isn't working. Are you having the same issue? Thanks! Any insight you have would be fabulous!

    1. Hi Carol, it tried it recently and it is still working. Actually there is a better Recipes generator now.
My friend designed it, when I told him Blogger needed a similar recipe format like WP.

    2. I just purchased this, I did a test and it looked great. Just waiting to get my log-in. Thank you for sharing

  23. Hi, Linda! Well, now... this is AWESOME! I've searched the interwebs, high and low and tried just about every one of the other options that you mentioned trying yourself, but none of them ever turned out to be what I wanted (or needed) them to be. I'd reached the point recently, where after many, many years using the Blogger platform, I was giving some serious thought to making the old switch-a-roo to WordPress - simply to have the option to use one of their nifty little recipe plugins. But now, you've come along like the fairy blogmother, with this fantastic little gem and saved the day! Thank You SO much for finding and sharing this, Linda! I can not wait to give it a whirl! Wish me luck and have an amazing week! ~Mary

PS: I just noticed Carol (above) said she had a problem with the site not working when she tried it recently, but I'm going to cross my fingers and go for it! I've been waiting far too long for something like this, to not go and at least give it the old college try. Oh, and in case I haven't already said it, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! I'll be sure to stop back and let you know whether or not I have the same problem that Carol did :~)

  24. Linda, Thank you so much. I am hoping you can help with two questions: how do you insert affiliate links into the Recipe Wiz?? And, how do you insert other links? That would be such a HUGE help if you know how to do those two things. Alyssa

    1. Hi Alyssa, actually there is something better now for recipes. It is the FREE Recipes Generator.Recipes Generator

  25. I know this post is almost two years old but you should do an update for this. I went to the Recipe Generator website and it is not free... Or am I doing something wrong?

    1. Same issue here. I don't think it's free anymore.

    2. Yes, it isn't free anymore. It is $3.00 a month.

  26. Thanks for this. I just bought it now from this post's recommendation.

    1. You are welcome. Finally a recipe generator for Blogger. He is always adding new features too.

    1. Can you tell me exactly what the issue is. Did you upload a photo to your blog and grab the url for the photo?

  28. Thank you so much for sharing this!!!

  29. Hi Linda great article. I was actually looking for something like a recipe generator, but still glad I stumbled on this. I've been using one called recipegenerators It's now my go to. I tried to stump it with only two ingredients I had in the fridge and pantry and it made a recipe and it actually tasted great. It's actually amazing as it seems to not just get canned recipes from the web but actually uses AI to come up with recipes based on ingredients you have on hand. I use it all the time now and it's free.

  30. thank you so much!
