  My name is Linda, welcome to my blog, LifeandLinda.  I also have a sister site, devoted to making over Blogger Blogs or offering support.  My Fairy Blog Mother  I love the challenge, yet creativity of making over blogs.  Every blog should reflect it's owner.

 I enjoy decorating, gardening, entertaining, cooking, tablescapes and clogging.  I was a former Cosmetologist, Medical Assistant and Real Estate agent. I am married to the love of my life.  I have 3 children, 6 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren.  I did start young. 

I  used to belong to a Clogging Performance team called, Traveling Shoes. We danced and performed at fairs, town events and other venues. 

We are no longer dancing, however we all meet once a month for lunch.

I am also an  two time Ovarian cancer survivor plus thyroid cancer and skin cancer.

Ovarian cancer is the silent killer, so ladies, be sure to pay attention to your body.

In 2000, a little over a while since getting married again, I discovered I had ovarian cancer. It did not run in the family.  I had a complete hysterectomy and chemo. Not a fun life, since being newly married.

I always recommend a blood test called CA-125.  After 13 years, I discovered in 2013, I had ovarian cancer again and to top it off, also thyroid cancer.

I had more surgery...4 1/2 hours with the  DaVinci Robot and then 7 weeks of radiation daily, except weekends.  I also had my thyroid removed.  Needless to say, I am still here.

My husband and I have 2 minature Schnauzers.  Dante who is 13 and Bella is 6 years old.

They bring us so much joy!  We have plenty of room for them to romp around in. I also enjoy designing blogs, slideshows and videos. I have a great interest in cooking, entertaining and designing pretty tablescapes 

I have helped quite a few people with their blogs. Designing and correcting issues within their blogs.  Hence, the name, My Fairy Blog Mother.  I really enjoy this kind of work.  I suppose I have a lot of determination, plus interest.  I love the creativity of it all too.

 My husband and I are both computer people. He worked at HP for over 30 years.

We spend a lot of our time in our study, side by side.

My husband and I are both retired, so we are enjoying life together.
