A Chunky Monkey Party For Girlfriends

There is nothing quite like getting together with girlfriends for an afternoon of food, laughter, and a little Halloween fun! June hosted our Chunky Monkey Girlfriend Party, and she turned her dining room into a festive witch-themed gathering that set the mood for a wonderful time together.

Of course, we couldn't have a Chunky Monkey party without the signature cocktail! June and I whipped up creamy Chunky Monkey cocktails made with coffee liqueur, crème de cacao, coconut cream, evaporated milk, banana, and ice.

A Witchy Dining Room

June decorated her dining room with a fun witch theme, giving our gathering a touch of Halloween magic. From the festive table setting to the seasonal decorations, it was the perfect place for girlfriends to gather, catch up, and enjoy an afternoon together.

June  set a lovely table to enjoy her homemade soup. We enjoyed dessert on her fabulous patio.

Everyone brought an appetizer to share, which made for a wonderful variety of bites to enjoy while we visited. I always love a gathering where everyone contributes something to the menu. It makes the meal feel relaxed and gives everyone a chance to share a favorite dish.

Catherine brought this coffin shaped charcuterie board filled with yummy condiments.

Her husband actually made the board.

Vicki made the delicious deviled eggs/ Someone brought wraps.

My Chunky Monkey Trifle

I brought a Chunky Monkey trifle for dessert. With those familiar chocolate and banana flavors, it was the perfect sweet treat to go along with our party theme. A trifle is also a lovely dessert to share because its layers look so pretty when served in a glass dish

I also made chocolate monkey cookies.

Our Chunky Monkey Girlfriend Party was filled with delicious food, festive witch-themed decorations, and plenty of time to enjoy one another's company. Between the cocktails, appetizers, trifle, and June's homemade soup, we had a wonderful menu to share.

Thank you, June, for opening your home and hosting such a fun gathering! These girlfriend get-togethers are a special way to celebrate the season and make memories together.

Thank you for stopping by Life and Linda. I hope this inspires you to plan a little fall fun with your own girlfriends!
