Hello January. Christmas is all put away, except for one Christmas tree. I am decorating it with hearts for Valentine's Day. A great time to give your house a good cleaning. The house always appears stark after Christmas.
Last week, I shared some photos of our property. We have a total of 26 acres, with our house being in the middle, further up the hill.
Living here means embracing the seasons of the foothills. It’s the smell of sun-warmed pine needles in the summer, the crisp scent of damp earth in the winter, and the sight of shadows stretching long across the granite ridges at sunset. It isn't just a property; it’s a 26-acre ecosystem that feels both ancient and vibrantly alive.
