Happy Pink & Silver New Year

Happy New Year, everyone! As we say goodbye to 2025 and step into the bright possibilities of 2026.  I wanted to share a look at the tablescape that helped us celebrate the countdown.

This year, I traded the traditional dark hues for a palette of pretty pinks and shimmering silvers. I wanted something that felt like a "Winter Wonderland" met a "Disco Celebration"—sophisticated, high-energy, and a little bit whimsical.

The Sparkle: Crystal & Fireworks

You can’t ring in the New Year without a proper toast! I brought out my Waterford crystal flutes—there is just nothing like the weight and clarity of Waterford to make a moment feel official.

To keep the energy high, I bypassed a traditional floral-only centerpiece and went for disco balls nestled among lush pink and white roses. The way the disco balls catch the light is incredible! Speaking of light, the entire room was transformed by firework LED lights, giving us that glitzy, "midnight in the city" feel right in our dining room.

The Foundation: Mirror & Nature

I started the design with mirror placemats, which are a total game-changer for New Year’s. They reflect every bit of light and make the whole table feel like it's glowing.

For the plate stack, I wanted to ground the glitz with a bit of organic texture. I used cedar lined with snow-covered branches as the base. On top of that wintry foundation, I layered:

A soft pink dinner plate for a pop of feminine color. A sleek silver salad plate to bring back that metallic edge. Silver napkins cinched with blingy silver napkin rings for that extra "wow" factor.

A Heartfelt Toast to You

As the disco balls reflect the light and we toast with our Waterford crystal, I’m reminded that the best part of any celebration is the spirit we carry into the months ahead. More than just a pretty table, I wanted this setting to represent the bright, hopeful energy I’m wishing for all of us this year.

As we step into 2026, my sincere wish for you and your loved ones is a year filled with:

Peace: May your home and heart be a sanctuary of calm.
Prosperity: May you find abundance in your work, your passions, and your spirit.
Good Health: May you feel strong, energized, and vibrant every single day.
Happiness: May you find reasons to smile in the big milestones and the tiny, everyday moments.

Thank you for being part of my journey this past year. Let’s make 2026 our most sparkling year yet!
