A Belated Pink Tablescape For Mothers Day

I didn't get around to share this post before Mother's Day.  I have been resting my leg due to it being injured.  It is starting to feel so much better now.  I set this pretty table dressed in pink and green in honor Mother's Day. Florals and butterflies are a great way to celebrate spring.

The pink roses are from my husband for my birthday,  They are from Glam Fleur, roses that are preserved. Pink napkins are complimented with pink peony napkin rings.

Lacy coupes make any table so elegant.  They are from Arte Italica called, Sofia. Paul and I enjoy champagne every Sunday.
I love these cute little spring flatware holders with a scalloped edge that say welcome spring.

The plate stack consists of Pier 1 white wooden chargers and a light green dinner plate followed by a floral plate, mini rose plates and  pink hob-nail compotes.

I wanted to share these fabulous roses from Jain's garden whose blog is A Quiet Life. Jain has such magical gardens, you cannot believe. She works in her garden every single day.  I keep telling her to stop and smell the roses, ha ha. Jain and Scott, her husband invited Paul and I over for champagne in the rose garden and an alfresco lunch.  We felt very special to be invited. Lunch was amazing with grilled chicken, asparagus, caprese salad, and fabulous desserts.

This setting at Jain and Scotts was set up for our visit.  Jain decorated with the bee theme with yellow and white. All four of us enjoyed the gorgeous rose garden and champagne. Scott drove Paul around for a tour of the property.  Such a treat!

Just look at this gorgeous rose garden.
These photos do not do the rose garden justice.

Lunch on the patio overlooking their new pool.

I will be sharing more of Jain's gardens on June 1st. for the Tales of The Traveling tote.  I took Miss Lola along for some photos.

  12. This is so lovely. I look at it with a bit of melancholy, thinking how many mothers days my mom missed with her early death and how I would love to have set such a glorious table for her. Well, it probably wouldn't be half as glorious -- but I'd do my best! The gardens are lovely, too!

  15. Linda, your Pink table is beautiful. I love it all, and it seems that green goes well with the color Pink. Your post hit home for me, as I just did a Pink post myself. I've been seeing lots of Pink stuff around lately. The Rose Garden is beautiful. I can just imagine how wonderful it was to see all the different colors of roses. I love those pink glass dishes, and your champagne glasses are so charming. Everything looks very nice. Have a good May week ahead, Linda.

  16. Oh Linda! This takes my breath away! Your table is so calming and inviting in the pale pinks and hints of other color for spring. I love the idea of you & Paul enjoying champagne each Sunday, so the new Arte Italica coupes are rightfully fitting! Jain's garden is simply a picture of splendor. I can easily see her working in it every single day. I can't wait to see more on Thursday. I do hope your leg heals completely, only time will tell. Those kinds of injuries tend to want to nag.

  17. Happy Belated Birthday! Oh, your table looked so stunning! I LOVE the pink roses & the pink glasses. I enjoyed clicking over to Jain's blog to see the amazing rose displays. I tried to subscribe to her, but couldn't find a regular subscribe by email option. I hope your leg is continuing to heal and you are doing well, my friend. Many blessings to you today!

  18. Wow, what a view from your friend's garden. It looks like a lovely place to visit and have lunch. Your Mother's Day table is beautiful, as usual. There are always so many subtle details to unpack, I adore looking at all your pictures. I know I've said this before, but you should be merchandising tables and displays at Pottery Barn or a local boutique. Such talent...
