New Blog Designs For Stampers

Busy times my friends.
I haven't had time to post, because I am working on more blogs behind the scenes. Here are some new designs I did.
Pirate Shylo Designs
Shylo is such an awesome strong lady who enjoys stampin.
Kudos to Shylo and her family. Fighting cancer is not an easy thing.
Shylo's Story

 In a nut shell.

Hello, my name is Shylo Dyche and I live with my wonderful husband, two giant teens, two mini-dachshunds and one fat cat.  I believe I have crafted in some form since I was a child.  In the last few years I have found that I love to learn new crafts much to my husbands horror.  Over the past few years I have become more focused on creating scrapbooks and hand made cards.  With the desire to improve my paper crafting abilities I began researching techniques and products that would help take me to the next level.  It was at this time that I became interested in Stampin' Up!  After purchasing many awesome products I decided the next step would be to become a demonstrator so that I could work at building a business doing something I love.

Why a Pirate?

Well, toward the end of 2017 I noticed changes in my body that led me to the doctor and many tests.  In the end I was diagnosed as having a rare and aggressive form of breast cancer called Inflammatory Breast Cancer.  Before I began my treatment journey I knew I would lose my hair.  I first decided to cut off my long blonde hair and do something radical with the color (pictured above).  As my hair started falling out I decided to go ahead and shave my head.  Anyway, long story short..I was standing in my kitchen and my youngest son came up to me and asked, "So, are you going to get a peg leg, a parrot and an eye patch?"  I just kind of stared blankly at him and he laughed and told me I was changing into a pirate.  I liked the thought of being a Pirate battling cancer and decided to incorporate it into my business name.  AAArrrgh!!

Final Thoughts.

I could be depressed about the road I have before me but you know what?  I am not.  I am surrounded with an AWESOME support group both at home and in my business.  In my business I am a member of a truly great and supportive team that does not hesitate to send me cards and messages to ensure I am doing well on all fronts.  What more could a girl hope for?
Paper and Ink Creations
I live in Massachusetts approximately 15 miles NE of Boston. I am married with 2 grown children (both married), a grandson and a grand fur baby.  I enjoy spending time with family and friends. We also enjoy traveling and lead a very active life.

I have been scrapbooking since the beginning of 2003 and at a weekend  crop in 2010, one of the vendors (a Stampin' Up! demonstrator) offered a card class, so I decided to participate to see if I would like stamping. Much to my surprise, I fell in love with card making and the quality of the Stampin' Up! products.

Well, it didn't take long before I was HOOKED, and because I bought so much product, I decided to become a Stampin' Up demonstrator in January of 2013, so I could buy my supplies at a DISCOUNT. I started out as a hobbyist but a friend of mine asked if I would be interested in doing classes which I agreed to, so she  brought 3 people to my home for a morning of coffee and cards.  We had so much fun creating cards,  they asked if I would continue with the classes which I again  agreed to, and not before long, they told more people and  through word of mouth,  it didn't take long before my classes had grown, and I started to add members to my team.

In April of 2018,  I decided to start a blog so I could keep all my customers updated with not only the Stamping' Up! products but to also provide them with samples using the products to inspire them to have fun and be creative too.

As a Stampin' Up demonstrator, I have met so many wonderful people that I know I will have as friends for many years to come. I also enjoy being their creative coach, sharing fun project ideas, special offers, and of course, teaching them all about the fantastic Stampin' UP! products.

And as an added BONUS, I also enjoy all the perks I get from Stampin' Up! just for being a demonstrator.

Mae is a pretty new blogger.  She is learning as she goes on how to blog.
Hi There,My name is "Mae"

  4. Hi Linda, I love hearing about Shylo’s great attitude! Though the type of breast cancer she has is scary, my daughters mil had the same type-stage 4 and lived a healthy life for 18 yrs. before she passed from age related issues-not from cancer. While this form of breast cancer used to be rare, I believe much progress has been made. I also liked hearing about the other gals, thanks for sharing.
