Who says we have to go traditional with our Thanksgiving table decor? I love the color of aqua, turquoise, etc. It is such a soothing pretty color. I decided to create a Thankful table with those fabulous colors. The orange Pumpkin soup tureen takes center stage.
I added aqua tall candle holders with pretty little pumpkins sitting on top. I chose my rust tablecloth with leaves, so the aqua would pop! I used two different chargers for this table.
Blue dessert compotes sit atop the leaf plates.
Again, this is our Breakfast room.
Tall mercury glass hurricanes sit on top of the dessert cart. I used a tall floral fall arrangement to complete the look.
Different view of the room.
Our arched china cabinet with plenty of dishes.
I hope you all have a fabulous Thanksgiving. It looks like my hubby and I will be alone this year.
I am cooking dinner for the two of us and we shall have plenty of leftovers.
Here's a few more blue and orange tablescapes to enjoy.

How fun are these colours, Linda! I agree, I think you can decorate for Thanksgiving in any theme you think will make your home happy and bright. Love this table setting and especially the pumpkin. Happy Thanksgiving, friend. I miss you! Let's chat right after the holiday. xox
ReplyDeleteBeautiful color scheme Linda....and I love the dish stack you did. It's going to be great for your guests to see and use it!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving!
This is beautiful. I do like the pop of aqua. My new turkey dishes have a hint of blue and I'd like to find something to play off of it. I have a pumpkin tureen I forget about- maybe I'll take it with me to my Mom's. We're going to be with my family this year though it's not going to be one of our happiest gatherings due to some things that are going on. Wishing you a relaxing and happy Thanksgiving Day. XO Liz
ReplyDeleteHow utterly YOU, Linda...gorgeous, creative, unique & a wee bit over the top...as it should be!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you have each other to be with on this holiday & neither of you will have to wake up alone. I'm missing my Ern something awful this time of year & since I just did my family's T'day dinner early to accommodate DGS#1 travel plans, I will be all alone on the actual holiday. Bummer!
I'm green with envy over your pretty arched china cabinet. I need to find something like that. I'm tired of carrying dishes up & down the basement steps.
Have a lovely holiday & give each other lots of big hugs & kisses. I sure miss those!
Happy Thanksgiving Linda:)
ReplyDeleteHi Linda, beautiful tablescape. The aqua is such a great complimentary color to orange and it all works beautifully. Wishing you two a Happy Thanksgiving. xo

ReplyDeleteLinda,
ReplyDeleteYou always put the prettiest table settings together. Such a refreshing look, and a lighter approach to the usual heavier hues!

ReplyDeleteGood evening Linda! Tonight marks my first night off from having to think about going to school for the rest of the week. Any color suits me right now to celebrate and give thanks. I LOVE THE AQUA IDEA! YES! It goes with just about anything and with this warmth we are having here in Minnesota, aqua would be a great color to add to my table. I wish you and yours a memorable Thanksgiving! Anita
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, Linda. I've yet to decide on how our table will be set. Working on that tonight and tomorrow. Happy Thanksgiving!
