Luncheon Off Study

We have been very busy planting more flowers off our study and Family room.  With the Spring weather, it makes it very enjoyable to work in the yard.  We love to take in the scenery after a hard day's work.
We find ourselves sitting here on the patio, enjoying lunch or  having something cold refreshments.

I am using a green Damask tablecloth with  Pink Burgundy chargers, Green cabbage plates and bowls, along with a pink floral, scalloped salad plate.  The napkins are April Cornell, folded like a rose with a pearl napkin ring. The green glasses are Fleur de Lis and crystal glasses that hold Pink Lemonade.

The pink pitcher belonged to my Grandmother.  It makes a perfect vessel for the pink Tulips.

The flatware is from Horchow

You can see the Wisteria blooming. My husband and son built the trellis.

  1. Linda: Oh, what a beautiful setting to have your relaxation after a hard days work. Your wisteria is just beautiful. Mine is barely showing buds. What a difference a few feet of altitude makes. I am so excited. I just found out how to link up from my good friend Gloria. I'm going to try it out on one of the Wednesday parties. Wish me luck..Happy Tuesday..Judy

Gorgeous table setting, really very beautiful, I would love to create something similar, and then I look out of the window at our horrible black sky with the rain and hail stones coming down and think perhaps not! have a lovely day, and I will look forward to more from your blog, marina xx

  21. Linda, this is a beautiful table. I love the tablecloth and the pitcher from grandma is precious. I think I am the only one in blogland who doesn't have cabbe plates. What's up with that? lol! Guess I better keep an eye out for some. They are so fun for a Spring tablescape. I love Wisteria. I had a tree and a vine at my Highland home. Have not planted one here yet, but surely will.

  23. Linda, I'm sure lunch would be enjoyable served outside in your lovely surroundings. The table is set beautifully and the flowers are very pretty. Last year the men who take care of the landscaping in our community cut every wisteria. They had been growing for years on arbors that flanked the entrance. High school kids would come here to get senior photos taken in front of the beautiful wisteria. Some of us were very upset but they replaced them with nice shrubs and flowers so it turned out fine but we still mourn the loss of our beautiful wisteria. Anyway, everything looks fabulous on your patio and I'm glad you shared it at Your Cozy Home Party.
