Glamorous Golden Tablescape | Life and Linda

Glamorous Golden Tablescape

I am sharing this lovely gold tablescape today.  Sorry I haven't posted all week.  With the passing of my dad, Christmas and all, I have been busy helping my Mom.  We had a very quiet Christmas.

My Mom, Jacqueline.  I was at her house for a few days.  I cut and styled her hair.  We had three appointments. Dealing with the Social Security, and also Trident Society.  My dad's wishes were to be cremated.

She also had a doctor's appointment.  We managed to fit in some after Christmas shopping.  She found some great bargains.  She really wanted the Winter Wonderland look I created below.

My Winter Wonderland scene above our tv.

Our Breakfast room.
Golden elegance everywhere in this room.
I dressed this dress form all in gold and pearls.  I have used it for many occasions.  I love the larger one Jackie from Purple Chocolat Home created.
If you haven't been to her blog, you should visit.  Be sure to check out her Great room and Christmas Eve table.

I always dress my chairs.  My chairs are covered in red and gold, so I use pillow cases to fit right over the chair and then dress them with wraps and decorative items.

Golden goblets with gold flatware.
If you have been following my blog, you also know I love to dress our chandeliers.  Pearl beads with snowflakes.
I found these beautiful gold plates at Home Goods.  Gotta love that store!  The crystal candle holders are also from Home Goods.

Bronze gold pillow case with a gold wrap.  I am using a curtain pull back holder for the decoration.  Good old Ross to the rescue.
Rest in peace Dad.  You are missed!

Your table is all aglow with sparkles and beauty. You and Jackie are kindred spirits I think. All the best for 2018. I hope we get to see each other again in the coming year.

  14. Oh Linda, my heart breaks for you & your mom. It's especially difficult when it's near a holiday. Our relatives have chosen just about every holiday there is to use their ticket to heaven. My darling brother-in-law departed Christmas Day abt 10 yrs ago. We miss each one so much. My prayers for comfort & peace are with you.

Your golden table is so incredible I think I'm drooling! You gave me such a great idea for my little dress forms. I have 2 on my dresser and I see a new life for them!! lol

May you and your mom have a New Year filled with the love of God!

She is just a lovely lady. I know that you have had a few long hard months with everything going on. I am praying that 2018 is much better for you (and for your mom).

Your table is fantastic (as always). You have the 'golden touch'. Love to you and Happy New Year- Diana
