My 2015 Top 10 Blog Posts

Time to reflect back on 2015 for some of my most popular posts. I am thankful for  my very loving and supportive husband, family, friends good health and happiness. I thank you all for following my blog and reading the trials and tribulations of Life and Linda.

#1 TOP POST- DIY WINE FOUNTAIN

This water feature in our downstairs guest bath was a big hit!  My husband  created this wonderful water feature out of a wine vault and some wine bottles,  tubing, pump, and container for the water.

#2  LAUNDRY ROOM REVEAL

Our laundry room had a big makeover.  We managed to re-use our former kitchen cabinets and install them in the laundry room. A very glamorous laundry room.

#3 HIGH DRAMA TABLESCAPE

This table is rich with gold and black.  I set this table in our now breakfast room.  I added some leopard print for fun.

#4 ADD A PRETTY SITEMAP

This is an easy add on for your blog.  It is highly beneficial for your readers to find something fast. The posts are listed alphabetically.

I set this table with a fuschia tablecloth. I love using our cabbage plates.  I dressed a pink polka dot umbrella with a pink rose garland from Michaels. The setting is on our deck off our study.

#6 OUR YARD 2015

A post about the changes to our patios, walkways and more. This particular photo above is a view of our waterfall off the family room.  My husband and son built the trellis.  Wisteria creeps along the trellis.

We have been wanting a new gate for our entry for quite sometime.  We had a lovely wrought iron gate with two copper Schnauzers a neighbor built for us, however we decided we wanted more privacy.  A wooden gate with a peek door.  Definitely Tuscan looking!

#8 PINK * GREEN BUTTERFLY TABLESCAPE

It feels like Spring around here, so I wanted to create a Springy tablescape with pink and green. Who says you can't decorate on a budget?

This was not a happy post, sorry.   I was having a difficult time writing about pretty things at the moment. The #ValleyFire is in Lake County, California.  My three children live there.  My two sons live in the Hidden Valley Lake area.  They were evacuated Sunday night due to the fire being so close.  They could see the flames from the top of their driveway.  They are all safe.

#10 DIVALICIOUS PINK AND BLACK TABLESCAPE

What woman  doesn't like being a  Diva now and then?  This table is created for lady friends who wanted to feel like a Diva!  Hot pink and black are dramatic colors and so fun!  Throw in some leopard and cheetah and we are there. Definitely looking forward to this fun day!

That's my round up of my top ten posts of 2015.  Here's to a bright new year.  Cheers!

  6. It was so nice to see the review of your top posts, Linda. I can understand why the fire was a hard post to write, but thankfully your family was safe.
Happy 2016 to you, sweet friend!

  7. That fire so close to your kids had to be so scary, I cannot imagine going through that. I am nervous enough just having my daughter, son in law and granddaughters living in Germany right now with all happening in the world!

I am so jealous of that laundry room! My new home is spacious and has lots of storage, EXCEPT for the laundry room which is tiny and tight. It is not on the drawing board to be changed, so alas, I will just look at yours!

I can understand why that wine bottle fountain was the top post, but oh, do I love that gate! I can't wait until we get to the outside of the new place, but for now, I would be happy with sofas!

Thanks for sharing at Celebrate Your Story...your story of 2015 was certainly a full one!
