Philly Cheese Steak

ON THE MENU.....

MONDAY
Philly Cheese Steak
Sweet Potato Fries
Coleslaw

Ever think about those mouth watering Philly Cheese steak sandwiches?  A few years ago, I decided to try making some.  I use Ribeye steak for my Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches.  The meat is so much better and tender, especially when you ask the butcher to slice them as thin as possible.  They always look at me funny, and wonder why am I destroying a perfectly beautiful steak. I always tell them what I am making.  Then they say......yumm!
I usually get 2 steaks from the butcher.  I have the butcher slice them paper thin, so the meat melts in your mouth.

TUESDAY
Papa Murphy's Pizza

WEDNESDAY
Cuban Burgers
Cuban Potato Salad

Cuban burgers are burgers that are grilled with mayo and roasted garlic spread, 2 slices of Swiss cheese, sliced dill pickles and sliced ham.   This burger is pressed on the grill, wrapped in foil.

  3. I have never been able to get meat sliced that thinly! This is one of our family's favorites. A restaurant in town uses cream cheese - I love that one too! I may have to work with my meat guy!
