Nutcracker Party

I am re-posting this.  I have been  very tired lately.
I am working on getting my hormones adjusted.

I have  a collection of Nutcrackers that are always fun to use around Christmas. Some of these are my inspiration for this table.
I found the Nutcrackers plates and glasses at World Market.  I added the tall red and white striped cups from the dollar Tree.

The Santa chair covers are also from the Dollar Tree.

The small Nutcrackers came in a set of 6 at Ross.  I usually put them in as name cards.  The center crocheted red, white and green doily, My Mother made for me.
I surrounded a small tree with 4 Nutcrackers.  I tried to match the colors to the plates and glasses.  The flatware I purchased at Horchows on sale.

The red and white round striped placemats are from K-mart.

The chandy has to be dressed too!

Oops, I forgot to add one plate under one of the nutcrackers plates.
Would you have noticed? LOL

I added little nutcrackers candies ...stuck in the napkin ring.

I actually used some hair accessories for some napkin rings.
they are red and green hair bands with bells.  I think they make great napkin rings.

Enjoy this very colorful party.  It all goes perfect in our red Breakfast room. Thanks again for visiting.....Merry Christmas!

Here's my little family....My hubby, our doggies...all girls.
Sasha, Lacy and Chloe.

How do you like my Leopard Jammies? My hubby bought them for me.  They are a one-piece, even with feet....The feet has kitten faces on them.  He even bought me the matching Santa hat.

I blend in with the sectional....LOL

Make sure to stay warm!

    Something cherry, something blue,
    Something scarlet just for you;

As a 54 yr old :( I can relate to the hormone thing and with everything you've been through I can imagine how challenging it must be to keep things balanced.

  46. I am terribly sorry you don't feel well. We haven't been too red hot here either. I hate that during Christmas! Hoping to get better. Hubby had emergency kidney stone surgery and I was so sick I couldn't even drive him. We are on the mend but slowly. Reserve your energy. You were wise to repost and it is lovely again! Those plates are fantastic!

  47. Linda dear! Good evening! Thank you for your visit! People like you are so kind to come around during this very busy time of preparations! We are flying out of chilly Minneapolis to California to visit family, and it's around 70 degrees out there as opposed to our below zero temps!

    Merry Christmas sweet friend! Anita

  49. Omigosh it's so Christmassy!!! And I'm loving the dogs. Nothing makes me happier than to see a pile of schnauzers. I just bought myself jammies like you're wearing...only they have Mickey Mouse on them. They're still in the package...wasn't sure if I was brave enough to wear them. You've given me strength. My husband, however, is going to think I've lost my mind.

    Merry Christmas!!
