Bird Inspired Tablescape

With Spring around the corner, it's a perfect time to bring our the bird dishes. I adore this dishes with the sweet birds....Red, gold and green with touches of brown.
I am enjoying sitting outside on our patio listening to the sweet sounds of birds chirping.

Actually I have 2 different salad plates that goes with the bird dinner plates.  This is the first salad plate with the 2 birds. The other salad plate is just the matching flowers.

This is the dinner plate.  You can see it's the same birds with flowers.

                   Here's a close-up of the dinner plate.

Bird napkin ring...overhead shot.

Here's place card I created for this dinner.

Fresh flowers for the table. I chose red to compliment the red in
the plates. The gold dish actually matches the  tall gold
vase in the wall niche.

Our table seats 8 on an everyday occasions.  We can accommodate up to 14.

pretty gold votive with jewels.

Notice our wine butler?...a little bit of Tuscany.

I thought I would share a picture of the table legs.  They are pretty massive.

This is a mural  we had painted. I found an artist online and he
painted this mural to my exact specifications.

I love this wall niche.  It's a great place to display art.

                                          Our chandelier

This photo shows our cabinets with a long buffet.
I wanted something large so we have  Buffet serving parties.

Excuse a few of these photos, I forgot to put the wine glasses back.
Actually I have to watch my husband...He's got  quite a sense of humor...Sometimes he comes in and rearranges things just to see if I notice.

Here's one of our chairs.  I am so happy with these.
They are divine to sit on, even for hours.
Have a seat and relax..dinner is coming.

Thank you for visiting!  Have a great week.

  5. Linda, everything in your dining room is so elegant and beautiful. But if the dining chairs are uncomfortable, no one will want to linger over a meal and enjoy the company and surroundings. Your chairs look inviting and comfortable. Plus they are gorgeous!!! Thanks for sharing your incredible room with us!
